The short version

  • We collect only what you choose to share with us.
  • We use it to reply to you and to invite you into the HUMAN, TOO beta.
  • We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising.
  • You can ask us to see or delete it at any time.

Who we are

HUMAN, TOO is run by Human, Too LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy covers our website, humantoosocial.com, and the forms on it. The HUMAN, TOO app will have its own privacy policy before it opens to members.

What we collect

We collect only what you type or select in one of our forms. Fields marked optional are always optional.

FormWhat you share
WaitlistYour email, and if you choose, your first name, what draws you to HUMAN, TOO, and a Circle you’re interested in.
Ask the founderYour question, and if you choose, your first name and an email address so we can reply. We only share a question publicly, without your name, if you tick the box that says it’s okay.
The Gathering interest listYour email, and if you choose, your first name, city or ZIP code and the conversations you’d like to join. We use it only to tell you about The Gathering.
Founding testerYour first name, email and state; which life experiences feel close to you right now; how you use social media; how and when you'd like to talk; whether you're a licensed mental-health professional; and any note you add.
OrganizationsYour name, work email, organization, its type and size, and what you hope to change.
ProfessionalsYour name as it appears on your license, email, license type and state, and your focus areas.

The experiences you pick on the tester form can be personal. We treat them as sensitive: only the founder reads them, and they're used only to invite people into conversations that fit. Please don't share anything in a note that you wouldn't want us to read.

What we don't collect

  • We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent data.
  • We don't use analytics tools that follow you around the web.
  • We don't ask for your address, birthday, phone number or payment details on this website.

How we use your information

  • To reply to you and answer your questions.
  • To email you about the beta, if you ticked the box to allow it.
  • To invite founding testers into conversations and research sessions.
  • To verify a professional's license before inviting them to join.
  • To learn what people need from HUMAN, TOO, using only combined, unnamed summaries.

Who helps us run this website

A few trusted services handle information for us, only so the website works. They aren't allowed to use your information for their own purposes.

  • Formspree receives form submissions and delivers them to our inbox.
  • Google Workspace is our email.
  • Netlify hosts the website.
  • Google Fonts provides our typefaces, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads.

We would share information with anyone else only if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it from our records within 30 days.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from any email with one click, or by replying "unsubscribe."
  • See, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@humantoosocial.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
  • Change your mind about taking part as a tester at any time.

Adults only

HUMAN, TOO is for people 18 and older, and every form asks you to confirm your age. If we learn that someone under 18 has shared information with us, we delete it.

Keeping it safe

Our website uses encryption (https), our accounts are protected with two-step sign-in, and only the founder can read submissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the care you'd expect from a company built on trust.

If you're struggling

This website and its forms aren't monitored for emergencies. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 in the US. If you're in immediate danger, call 911.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already shared, we'll email you first.
